Sarah‘sfolding practice was born from the process of following the path towards destruction. It was through the liberation of the controlling mind, a place of perfecting by letting go into the clay and dropping into the body into movements that were both guided from the clay.
Due to the nature of making, each piece will have some variation. The beauty of handmade ceramics lies in its unique material language. Every crackle, texture, slip application and even the seemingly imperfect areas are the results of a dialogue between clay, time, and the maker.
